The opportunity to receive support from the joint project “Investment support for onshore solar power plants” by submitting an application to the Lithuanian Energy Agency prompted UAB “Kriautė” to plan to install a 99 kW onshore solar power plant.
The project is implemented under the Economic Recovery and Resilience Plan “Next Generation Lithuania”, financed by the European Union’s Economic Recovery and Resilience Instrument “NextGenerationEU”. The project has been allocated €37,194 in funding.
Modernisation of production facility at Kriautė UAB

Kriautė UAB is implementing the project ‘Modernisation of Production Facility at Kriautė UAB’ in the framework of the ‘Regio Potential LT’ measure of the European Union Investment Action Programme for 2014–2020.
The aim of the project is to improve and modernise the technologies and technological processes used at the company by improving their synchronisation. The project involves the reorganisation of the operation of the company’s production lines by introducing new and more advanced equipment, expanding production capacity, improving work efficiency and ensuring high levels of quality by simultaneously responding to the demand for the products in the Lithuanian and foreign markets.
The funding of EUR 27,762 was obtained from the European Regional Development Fund for the implementation of the project.
Kriautė UAB is a partner in the implementation of the project Apprenticeship and Skills Improvement at the Workplace.
The aim of the project is to ensure the improvement of the employees’ qualifications, their professional mobility and ability to adapt to the rapidly developing activities and requirements of the processing industry sector. During the project, employees of the company will participate in skills improvement training courses ‘Design Engineer (Building Design Engineer)’ and ‘Production Master Using Digitalisation of Production Technology in the Processing Industry’.
Kriautė UAB has signed a grant agreement with Investicijų ir verslo garantijos UAB in the framework of the measure ‘Competence Voucher’. During the project, the company will be reimbursed a part of its employee training costs. Employees will also improve their English language skills. The project is financed by the EU Structural Funds.
